HI! Does anyone have a good recipe for a simple cookies n cream frosting? can i just add crumbled up oreos to a regular buttercream? Thanks!

Yes. If you already have good buttercream why reinvent the wheel.
here's a great one...i add cookies to my buttercream as well. try this for something real yummy and stable. Easy to make, i actually made the MM fluff from scratch even, using corn syrup, and was still very easy. Wirth the extra effort. http://cakecentral.com/recipes/5773/oreo-filling
