cake is being picked up tomorrow morning so i need a trick to dry out fondant really fast ...the cross will be standing up bon top of cake help plz

Can you make it out of gumpaste instead? If not add tylose to your fondant and put it in a COLD oven with the light on.

Gumpaste dries a lot faster than fondant. It also dries harder.
