I need two make separate cakes for two brothers (age 6 and 13)...baseball theme. for the 12 yr old I am attempting his hat...for the 6 I don't wnat to do the same...any suggestions? thanks.

Do a ball field. Search the gallery for baseball. There have been a few wonderful baseball cakes lately...

Make a glove from RKT, cover with fondant and use brown food coloring. Dab it on with a makeup sponge to give it a leathery mottled effect. Then make the cake to look like home plate - square or diamond shaped.

We did this for a grooms cake and it was amazing.

Hi , i just posted a pic of my grandson's b/d cake. It was a glove and hat. He loved it. and i also was pleased how it turned out. my inspiration came from c/c also. hth

thank you all...I am from OHIO and loved the Cleveland Indians pic. I don't think I can make it as well. but love the photos of all the baseball cakes. thank you.
