I just started trying to decorate cakes about 3 months ago. I love it. I have made my own fondant, screwed up fondant, tried crusting buttercream icing, and tried different techniques I read about on CC. I am up for ANYTHING I have grown to love decorating in a few short months icon_biggrin.gif . But as I progress I am wondering if there are little tips that could help speed up the process and make cleaner looking cakes. I would love any secret tips from seasoned decorators. So, if you have any good secrets or ideas please post them here. I can store them in my Cake Diary!
