I have a client who is requesting a 3-d Bearded Dragon and was planning on making it out of gumpaste so I could capture most of the detail.

How long will this figure last once it's dried completely? Is it possible to keep it indefinitely? If so what would be the best way to store it?

Thanks kindly!!

I have some dark blue gumpaste roses left over from doing my sister's wedding cake two years ago. I've kept them boxed up, out of direct light, and they still look brand new.
I figure as long as I don't drop them, they'll probably last forever.

For something like a bearded dragon, with so much detail, I'd keep it wrapped in a couple layers of bubble wrap and then in a box so it doesn't get dusty or fade.
