I am needing to make a football cake and i need it to be 3d. How can i make it without buying a new pan which I don't have time to purchase. Thanks in advance for any suggestions.

you will probably have to carve it if you don't want to buy a special pan for that shape...

or maybe you have something that's kind of that shape already. I have a princess house serving bowl that's pretty close, and it's oven safe so maybe think about other things outside of the normal cake pan that you could use as well...

Oops! I think you need to define football. American football with the oblong ball or the other football like a soccer ball?

hmmm, that did occur to me after I'd suggested the pudding bowl. Being from the UK, football just means 'soccer' to me automatically.
