How Much Batter? Help!

I cannot find anywhere on how much batter to use for the wilton blues clues cake pan.....it tells me to make 1 2 layer cake according to directions.....am I stupid and cannot figure this one out and it's right in front of me or does anyone have a amount of batter chart for character pans?? TIA!

Most cake mixes yield between 4 - 5-1/2 cups of batter (depending on brand and/or flavor).

To determine exactly how much your pan needs, just fill with water to the depth you want (and measure the amount of water used).
