Not sure this is in the correct forum, but just wondering. Right now I'm shown as a junior member with 1 star. What causes you to have more stars and "upgrade" (for lack of a better word) your status?

I have to work a "real job" too. It'd be nice if this was all I had to do icon_lol.gif .

I totally agree mamawrobin!! My partner and I are constantly e-mailing each other during the workday that we'd rather be doing CAKE!!

Id love it if instead of school and work I could just browse this website and post and comment on everything. this is an awesome resource for me. I need to post pics of my cupcakes and put pics of some cakes Ive done up.

I wish I didn't have to have a real job and could devote more time to developing more caking skills...but one kid is in college and the other is going to be a senior in high school next year, so I'll have to keep the 9-5 for a few more years! icon_cry.gif

My "real job" is medical transcription and I work at home and sometimes (okay, most of the time) it is so hard to work and stay off of CC! (as obviously evidenced today)! My goal (as I'm sure it is a lot of others here) is to finally be able to do cake 100%!

Your status doesn't go up every 100 posts, just to go from Junior member to regular member it changes at 100 post.

And it is based off of your post, not the topics you started (there is a count over to the left under your name)

and here is a direct link to the forum ranks and how many post you have to have to get to the next level. Of course there are asome ranks that are special and you just can't get (on the right hand side of the page)
