Type Of Heat Lamp To Use When Working With Venuance Pearls

Hello all,

I'm fairly new to working with isomalt... Just recently purchased some Venuance Pearls to make edible jewels with.

I DID take a course in it a year or so ago, but forgot to ask where to find the heat lamp that was used in the class... And what specifics I needed to find the right type of lamp/bulb to work with the sugar.

Anyone in Canada (or any place with suggestions) know where to find a lamp suffient for working with isomalt?? Peferably one with a movable stand to bring towards and move away from the table surface.

I searched a little more and I found that it should be AT LEAST a clear 250 watt bulb. Some people seem to choose the 500 watt. Preferrably clear, but can use red.

Sound about right??

The course I took recommened the red. Easier on the eyes.
