I have a request for a 1/2 sheet cake with 11 students name on it plus the word Congrat.... I told the person that it does not leave much for decorations in my opinion.Any ideas.
Yeah, I would say decorations and "Congratulations" or just border and the full message.
I believe Cake Wrecks just did a blog about this exact topic last week. I get this stuff everyday.
Piping the names on the side sounds great. Thanks
I like the idea of the names on the side. You can have them going up and down so it gives it a little more "bing" to the decorating.
I like the names on the side idea too. What about little plaques with the kids names on them that are on wires above the cake . Maybe in the center like a firework coming out?

Can you explain this more.I love it.
Well, I found this one by putting "wire" in the search engine

Something like that maybe. You could use something from their mascot, like a lion paw or maybe one of those bull horns that the cheer squads use. Anything that they are interested in, then suspend them from the wire in the center of the cake or up in a corner so you would have room for the Class of 2010, Congratulations, or whatever. HTH
Sure, glad to help. I would love to see what you come up with. A sheet cake is just blank canvas. ![]()
