I just invested in some wilton gum-tex today.. was wondering if anyone knows a good, relatively easy modeling paste i can make with this? does it work well if i just add it to mmf? ive just been using mmf with a bit of cmc to date, which hasnt worked fantasticly, my figures end up sticky. =( any help appreciated!

i just made some., but i dont think its worked. i think the glucose here is much thicker then the u.s version.. although im not sure..

I use normal 250g fondant (sugarpaste) with 2 teaspoons cmc/tylose

Did you let the gumpaste rest overnight before using it? I've used the Wilton Gumpaste recipe a few times now. I've found that it's easier to add all of the powdered sugar on the first go rather than reserving 1 cup and adding it the next day as the recipe states. When I followed the Wilton directions I ended up with a gloopy mess but after scooping it all into a plastic bag, allowing it to rest overnight, then adding another cup of powdered sugar, I was able to use it.
