What Else Should I Do To This Cake??? Help Fast Please!

I'm working on this cake, it's for a 1st birthday/baptism combined....hate doing cakes like this....only direction from mom was pinks and purples. top layer is for baptism bottom for birthday. it's missing something......any advice would by appreciated.

I think make fondant balls of the various colors and make ball/bead borders around the base of each tier, and then if you have time to make some sort of cross or something on top that will dress it up!

Nice job!

***Edit, how about a number 1 on the top and some wires with dots or beads sticking out...?****

I agree with Ketagrl. Just a border of some kind around the base of each tier and it's perfect. I like the fondant balls in all the colors suggestion.

thank you kitagirl, I wanted to do a one on top but thought it would look lonely.......LOVE the idea of dots on wires!! thank you so much!!
