Make Isomalt Gems Look Shiny Again?

I made some light purple isomalt gems and I wanted them to look like the stone alexandrite, so I painted on some red and blue mixed with vanilla. The color looks great, but they are DULL!
Anyone know how to bring back the shine? Is there a lustre spray or something that would work?

rub a tiny bit of oil on them
