Does anyone know where I might purchase magnetic chocolate molds at a reasonable price? I order a lot of stuff from pastrychef.com, but theirs start at $83. I though I had found a Canadian location until I realized how much they wanted to ship to the states.
Go to froogle.com search magnetic chocolate molds
Several sites come up with molds starting at about $50 each

Thanks, I did do an internet search first. I was just hoping someone on CC had some personal recommendations.
I've used magnetic molds and I love them, but I haven't purchased any due to the cost.
I don't have a call for dozens of truffles in the same shape, so I go with the cheap plastic molds, when necessary.
I remember seeing a great deal on a lot of them a while back on Ebay--I was tempted, believe me, but storage was an issue.
For customer service, I highly recommend Chefrubber.com Their magnetic molds run around $50.

J B Prince google them, they have them for about 50.00
Thanks, but I don't order from them any longer. They totally botched my order and demanded that I pay for their mistake. They transposed two numbers on my item number, but swore that I had ordered the items that I didn't even have a use for. I had to dispute it on my credit card, and they told my credit card that they had issued a credit to me already. Well, my cc realized that they were lying so they reversed the changed. Glad that I had used my Visa.
Haven't ordered from them yet, but I was thinking about it, good to know this info.

I dont know what kind you are looking for but Dove Chocolate Discoveries has circles, ovals, and hearts in magnetic chocolate molds for like 40 or under I think. http://www.dove-chocolate-discoveries.com/sites/jeanareed/productcatalog
Thanks for chefrubber.com. I also found some silicone molds that I want. I did this Johnny Depp photo with a silicone frame mold. Everything is edible.
May I ask where you got that fabulous frame mold?
Bobwonderbuns, the frame isn't mine. I borrowed it. I'll try to find out where it was purchased within the next couple of weeks and let you know.
Your name always gives me a chuckle.
