I am new to cake decorating and have only done a few cakes for others. A family friend has a son graduating this year and they asked me this weekend do his cake for SAT. I couldn't say no because I know they are having some financial difficulties. They are not picky about design or anything so I really don't mind doing it but I have never done a sheet cake before. Does anyone have any suggestions to make this easier? I was planning on baking the cake ahead of time and freezing it. I also want to make my BC early since the school colors are red and black and need time to set. Any decorating ideas and tips will be greatly appreciated. Hope everyone has a great Sunday.
