Black Icing

Is there any way to make black icing without it tasting so bad? I need to cover a cake in black but I know it will be gross.

Start with chocolate or brown. I made it once with dark chocolate and it tasted like dark chocolate (I used the recipie on the Hershey's special dark cocoa tub) it was a dark brown to begin with.
