Does anyone know what I'm talking about when I ask how do you cut a cake so that it looks like a wedge shape or an incline? there is something you do that is easy, but I have forgotten.
Thanks in advance.
Will hope fro an answer while I sleep, must get up in 3 hrs.

Is this what you're talking about?
Thank you so much!!!
This is so nice of you to send that info!
What I am specifically looking for is this:
How did you get that diagonal cut on that layer.
I know you have to lay the layer down and bring the cake leveler towards you as you pull through the cake, but don't you prop the cake up onto something before you start cutting?
Again, Thank you Kellbella!
I don't use a leveler when making cakes like this. I use a nice and sharp bread knife. Works like a charm! I love this video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xHY_F53ClJ8&playnext_from=TL&videos=W-Afo-Kou6g
