popcorn salt is a very VERY fine salt, usually found in the grocery, in with the regular table salt. If it's not there, check in the snack/popcorn aisle.
If you don't have it, you 'can' use regular table salt, but the popcorn salt is super fine so it dissolves really easy.
Yes, I've found it at WalMart near the baking soda, etc. on the top shelf of the baking goods aisle.
In the grocery store, I usually find it where the unpopped popcorn (in jars) is located.
