what kind of chocolate would I use for a chocolate wrap on a cake

Also...I cant find the acetate anywhere...could I use something else for the wrap?

Sorry to hijack the post, but they kinda go together and those reading the OP will prob be able to answer both Q's ...hopefully....

I used chocolate and white chips with a little shortening melted in. I used freezer paper to do my chocolate wrap cake. It works very well and you can cut it to the correct length to completely go around the cake. I also folded it into thirds length wise to make it easier to handle.

You're both welcome. I LOVE the look of the chocolate wrap. Mine is actually the cake in my avatar. I made it for my son's senior recital. The worst problem I had was getting chocolate EVERYWHERE! icon_biggrin.gif I even found some on the ceiling fan! I have no idea how I did that!
