Hi! I've been asked to do decorated sugar cookies for a friend of a friend's baby shower. I was wondering how many do you suggest for 50 people?

I do one per person. Usually there is other goodies there and we use the cookies as favors

Depends on whether it is the only dessert and what size they are.

Assuming there will be other food and other deserts:
3-4 cookies for 1" (they're just to easy to pop in your mouth)
1-2 cookes for 2"
1 cookie each for 3" or 4"
