I have a friend asking me if I could make this, but I have never heard of it. He said he has no idea where it came from but it was a deep red color almost burgundy, spicy and sweet with a strong cherry flavor. Almost like a spicy cherry candy....

Any ideas? I'm looking for a recipe if anyone has one.
