Look on the web for sites that sell miniature display equipment - you will find lots of rotating bases there. Also take a walk down the toy aisle in your local store. Just about anything that move as a toy can be modified to move in your cake. You will need to know how strong the motor is and whether it can drive (rotate) under the weight of the cake.
