These are the cakes my 5 and 3 year old daughters made for me for Mother's Day. Artists in the making!!!!
P.S. - thank goodness they are just for family, notice the finger marks all along the side of the 3 year old's...she is a chocoholic!!!!
I am very proud, they had a blast. The 5 year old was very serious about it, had to get every sprinkle just right, and wanted to make sure it had a tasty filling....cherry chocolate chip. The 3 year old just wanted chocolate, chocolate and more chocolate. My 5 year old said "I want to grow up to be a mommy too. That way I can make pretty cakes for all my friends too." Geez I love that kid!!!!
They did a great job. Two of the prettiest mothers day cakes that I"ve seen.
That was sweet of them... My kids made me a pan of brownies.
Yes, it was a wonderful present. They talked about it all day today at school.
