Is there really a diffrence in the machines...Can I use the cake cartiridges in the cricut exprssion?

You can use the same cartridges on both machines.

the main differences are that the cake is food safe, the rollers have been removed, the inside is sealed so gumpaste doesn't cause damage etc. Same cartridges and methods apply. The one major selling point for me was the fact that my warranty wouldn't not be voided with the cake as it would have been if I had modified a expression. Since my luck tends to be a bit bad when it comes to rigging machinery I felt the extra monies were worth it. I purchased it at HSN in a bundle on May 12 and paid 349.00 with shipping. Received the cake, frosting sheets and two cartridges.
