Can someone please tell me if I am doing something wrong? I baked NFSC on Thurs. and stored them in an airtight container. On Fri. I decorated with a glace and left them out to dry. When I went to package them on Sat. some were so soft that they broke just from being lifted of the racks. The cookies were about 1/4 in. thick.
how did they seem before you iced them? was it a rainy weekend at your house?
when it's humid, I often bake my cookies a little bit longer and let them cool completely before boxing them up in an air tight container...
