Hi all, i just saw a post of a beautifully decorated cupcake, it was a perfect swirl to a star top, can's find it now, and can't remember the number of the tip, any help would be appreciated thank you

Many use a 1M for that great swirl

i think you are thinking of Ateco French Tip 869

I don't know if it is the one you are talking about but cupcakeology has beautiful swirls on her cupcakes and, like Rachie 204 said, she used the Ateco French tip 869.

i found it on ultimate baker site they seem reasonable in their prices thanks all i've used 1m and like it but the cupcake i saw had such clean lines, and the star on top wasn't put on last they just swirled it on the top wish i could find the picture thanks all

The largest round tip we use for cupcakes is an Ateco 809. I swear I'm going to finish taking close ups of cupcakes decorated with each one of the large Ateco tips!
