Wedding Cake Question

Has anyone done a wedding cake where the bottom tier is round and the other 2 tiers are square? I have someone who wants me to make this shape cake for her and I'm having a hard time deciding what size pans I'll need. If anyone has a picture of a cake does this way, I would really appreciate taking a look at it.

sure. Just make sure you understand the math on the squares so that they don't overhang the round.

stack your cake pans up to find out the appropriate sizes or even some cake dummies. I stack cake dummies up and snap photos and email to the bride to make sure it's the look they're going for!
