I have a graduation cake coming up that is a horseshoe cake stacked on top of a 16" round. If I used SPS, what would I buy to hold the horseshoe cake? A round? How do I cover the open part? Hope this all makes sense...just need some advice, thanks!
Is the cake covered with buttercream or some other icing or fondant? If using fondant, then you could cover the open area with fondant to match the fondant the plate is resting on.
And if bc, just ice with bc over the plate.
It is SMBC - okay, I think a 14" round will fit under it okay. Thanks - never done an odd shape stacked before!
