HI All: I was watching Ultimate Cake Off on Monday and one of the contestants name was Roland who has cake decorating books published. I missed his last name and I was wondering if anyone knows it? I would like to check out his books. Thanks icon_biggrin.gif

Thanks KatiesMum! I was wondering the same thing. His scupltures are amazing. I went to the website and he has several books which look like they could be helpful.

Do you or anyone else here own any of his books? If so, would you recommend them?

I have a few of his books - the buttercream flowers is a good one. Lots of ways to pipe flowers directly on the cake as well as some good ideas for sheet cake design.

I have his airbrush book and figure piping book and both are good. I also bought my airbrush and compressor from him at ICES a couple of years ago.

Thanks everyone! I saw the airbrush one and thought that might be helpful since I just bought an airbrush but have yet to try it...a little nervous. ha ha
