Last night I baked 50 cupcakes for a baby shower we are having at school tomorrow. I don't want to try to transport 50 decorated cupcakes (along with all the other stuff) to school in the morning. Can I mix up my frosting tonight and pipe/frost the cc tomorrow afternoon at school? Will the frosting still be smooth enough to pipe a swirly on them? Could I mix up the frosting and put it in multiple disposabe piping bags and be ready to go?? Any ideas or tips would be GREATLY appreciated. icon_biggrin.gif

I've done this before with my regular BC recipe, filling the bags the night before and frosting with them the next morning. I'm assuming you could do the same with IndyDebi's. You might want to pm her and ask, though, just to be sure.

Yes, I think you'll be fine to do that. I often have leftover indydebi frosting that I leave in a covered bowl on the counter.......and dip into accidentally icon_biggrin.gif the next day and the day after.......... and it's FINE!
