Need Ideas On How To Make Disney/mickey Cupcake Toppers

I have to make a friend some cupcakes for a Disney themed stagette party - the bride and her friends are going to Euro Disney. The person has asked that I do cupcakes with some Mickey or Mini mouse ears, or some other kind of Disney themed topper, but I need some ideas. I don't have much time to go out and buy any supplies, as I thought they were needed in May, but it turns out she needs them next Thursday. The only thing I've seen so far has been a Mickey Cake ball that I could replicate and make smaller to sit on top of the cupcakes. Is there anything I could make out of MMF?
Also, how long do cake balls last out of the fridge?
For the cupcakes - I think these are cute:

For the cakeballs - I don't know.
You could make mickey or miney ear cut outs or something of the like, and glue them on tooth picks to put on the cupcakes. You might want to make 1 for each side of the pick so 2 each. If you have a cricut it would make the work pretty fast.
