I have a Castle cake order coming up, it will be my first time making this cake. I noticed some CC memebers had a little problem with leaning columns. Does anybody have any tips on how to keep these on, I will be delivering this cake and would like it to arrive fine. Your help is greatly appreciated.

I have heard that you can use melted chocolate at the bottom (around the column) for stability. But, maybe someone who has actually done this can give more advice

Ok, what I did for mine and had no problem at all. 1st I had my husband drill holes in the bottom of each tower. Sharpened each dowel, drove them into the cake drum and put the towers on each dowel. Delivered fully assembled without any problem at all. Hope this helps.
