Sharpen Wilton Cake Leveler?

Just a quick question...I have the wilton cake leveler/splitter (the small one with the wire). It has gotten a bit dull and I was wondering if anyone knows how to sharpen the wire a bit. I though of using sandpaper or emery cloth of some kind, but wasn't sure. Any ideas?

Good question....mine has too. I saw a Fat Daddio's one in our local craft store and wondering how well it worked. It was a multi-leveler. Down side, it cost over $60!!

Sorry...not sure about the small one...but I LOVE the large one.
Totally worth the cost (plus 40% off)!

Isn't the small one something like $3. I would just buy another.

If you're near a Hobby Lobby, they are under $3 plus you can generally get 40% off.

Otherwise I'd just buy a new piece of wire icon_smile.gif
