I am doing a baby shower cake in a few weeks, and the theme is based on the picture I am going to attatch. I have the cake planned out already, but 2 of the tiers involve doing the pattern. I'm wondering if everyone would try to duplicate this really hard pattern, or just use the same colors, and do a different pattern. Your thoughts would be great.

I would. I would charge up the wazoo, but I'd do it!

I would try and replicate the same thing... the owl can be printed out to the size you want on the cake and use it as a template to cut out flat pieces of fondant and if your piping skills are good you can copy the rest of the design too. All the best icon_smile.gif

If you can get a good pic, upload it and send it to be printed on an icing sheet.

Sure, once you get the owl. One of those patterns is a Wilton press . Then you can use other presses for the curlicues. and then straight lines.
