Hi All, i have preordered my cricut cake, i just go the gypsy (HSN clearance) and i am wondering is there a software for your computer that allows you to put your own clipart or font or whatever in and then cut on your cricut? I have seen the CSD and heard some talking about SCAL which one do you all use?

I use Make The Cut. It's very user friendly and you don't have to convert to SVG files.

There is also Sure Cuts Alot, a downloadable software program online. Lots of scrapbookers have suggested this one for the Cricut rather than buying cartridges all the time.

I use Sure Cuts A Lot (SCAL) - current version is 2.010. Retails for $74.99. You can see demos at www.craftedge.com which is the company that sells it. You can also see lots of hands-on demos on YouTube - just search on SCAL.
