I need a method of keeping dark colored piping from bleeding in the heat. Is there some type of food coloring that works better or is it the type of frosting (buttercream) that causes the colors to run?Thanks,Diana
if you let your colored icing sit overnight before piping it onto your cake it helps a LOTI've also heard that adding some meringue powder to your icing helps for some reason too.
