Hi all!

I want to change up my filling in my cakes. However, I need fillings that do not require going in the fridge. If I crumble up Reese's Peanut Butter chips and mix it in my regular BC icing; (Bc does not need to be in the fridge, the recipe I use anyway) does it need to be placed in the fridge??

I am thinking I will be ok....but want to make sure. I will fill the cake Friday, Ice Saturday and party Sunday
??

Thank you in advance..

I don't know about Reese's PB chips, but I put mini chocolate chips in some BC for a cake last weekend and didn't need to refrigerate it. My BC doesn't require refrigeration either and the mini chips were a nice little addition.

OK...I'm a total newbie, but I would think that since the PB chips don't need refrigeration on their own, adding it to something that also doesn't need refrigeration shouldn't change anything. Sounds yum!

Hi there.. It will be fine.. I add to my buttercream:
Mini Ch. Chips
Crushed Up Heath Bars
Crushed Up Oreo's
Crushed Up Butterfingers
M&M's

and you can always make a strawberry flavored buttercream and add mini White Cho. Chips.. Very Yummy

Post a picture of your cake!!
