I have tried Satin Ice and didn't like it. Kept drying out. Someone told me to use Choco pan so I was planning on buying some today. I was reading a post about Fondarific. Which brand do you think is the best tasting and easy to work with? I need to place an order for a large wedding cake and I want a fondant that tastes really good. If I was to choose Fondarific do you recommend the buttercream flavor or the vanilla? Thank you.
I just ordered a 5 lb. container of Fondarific. I read from other CC friends that is was great tasting and easy to work with. I have tasted it yet. Just a warning, it cost me $30.05 plus $11.47 S&H for a total of $41.52!!
I have worked with MMF and customers like the taste better than the regular fondant. You can get the recipe here in the recipe section. It's great for cakes and cookies! Hope this helps.

I make my own MM fondant but I wanted to buy pre made for such a large cake.
I like fondxcel. It tastes good and is easy to work with. I buy mine from www.fondantsource.com for ~28.00 and shippings not badly priced and they are super super fast.
Unless Wilton has changed in the past 2 months, it still tastes like poison. YUCK! I bought some to make figures..b/c I had a coupon and no one was going to eat it and tasted it, it was gross.
I'm curious also because I was going to order the Choco Pan? I've only worked with Wilton.
