Has anyone experience with Marshmallow Fondant and can answer the following questions?

1. As we can purchase only pink and white marshmallows does the pink dominate the fondant?

2. Has anyone made their own marshmallow and been successful using it in the fondant If so what quantity did you use?

Thanks a mIllion

Hi Trottie,

1) If the bag is mixed with both pink and white, yes it will make a difference. It'll work if you want to tint your MMF red, pink, purple, for example but if you are trying to make white, blue, green or yellow, your colors will be off.

2) If making your own marshmallows, you might as well just make your own fondant since the ingredients are almost the same. Popular ones that have received great review are Michele Foster's or Toba Garrett's.
