Hi everyone, I need to know if the silver cake stands/plateaus will really hold a 4 tiered cake that is 5" tall per tier and each tier is covered in two layers of fondant. In other words a very heavy cake.

Am I going to have any issues with these stands? They just don't look like they would hold up, especially the one my bride picked out.

use a styrofaom circle underneath that is the height iofthe stand but smaller in diameterl. Just in the center to hold the wieght So, the stand cant sink at all
