I am covering a cake with pastry pride (couldn't find Rich's bettercreme) and the recipe calls for a package of pudding mix and milk. If I use the pastry pride instead of Rich's can I still add the flavoring and milk or will it destroy the whipped topping? Ug I sould have thought of this sooner

I have used Pastry Pride in place of Rich's Betterecreme. I havn't used a recipe that calls for mixing pudding mix in it but I believe you will get the same result. Rich's & Pastry Pride are the same in consistincy it is just the flavor that is different.

I'm not sure about the milk, but I've added pudding mix to Pastry Pride before and it worked great. I don't think the milk will to any harm.
