How do you get the oil out of the white chocolate clay . I made a batch of it tonight and it seems very oily . Will it be ok to work with ? Can I add something to it to absorb the oil?
You can blot the oil with a paper towel. Just put the chocolate on a piece of wax paper, blot, let it cool and then wrap it with saran. Once it hardens it won't be nearly as oily. The oily thing is completely normal.
I usually knead it on parchment, you'll wind up with a puddle, keep kneading and squeezing and blot it with the paper towel. Wrap it and let it sit for 24 hours and you should be fine.
