Stacked Book Cake Size Pan Question

I want to do a stacked book cake to serve 24 people. What size pans should I use? I was thinking of a 9x13 rectangle and cutting it in half for two books?? I would torte each half. That means my books maybe small though? Ugh... advice seriously needed...

you could do a single book if you want, but if you really want stacked i dont see that being a problem! books come in all different sizes! you should be fine. =)
