Where Can I Buy Marzipan Or Should I Make It?

I have seen almond paste in the market and it is quite expensive. should I try to make marzipan....want to make some marzipan fruits.....

Here is Emerils recipe for marzipan
Personally I would buy pre-made but if you need a large amount you might want to make your own.

You can make the same figures. fruit, decorations out of fondant; unless you like marzipan and look forward to eating the decorations icon_smile.gif

If only used for decorations, I'd use fondant to model the fruit and save some cash.
