fondant source also has satin ice...their shipping is cheaper for my area.

I just checked out their website, and their prices are competitive, and their shipping appears to be cheaper, too...but are they always "out of stock" on a lot of things, or did I just hit it at a bad time?

No, it will not bleed.
I wait for the bc to crust so that I can smooth, so I apply fondant accents post-crusting. Brush water to the back of the cut-outs and apply to the bc. Not too much water, though.
