Just using a calculator I come up with 20. 16 divided by 1.5 inches is 10.66 so 10 rows down one side times 2 for the "other side" is 20. This would be for "party" size pieces 1 1/2 by 2 inches. Hope that sounds right.

Assuming the cake is 16x4x4. Assuming pieces of cake of 1x2x4.

The cake would be cut in half lengthwise to get the 2" width of the piece of cake. Then it would be cut in 1" pieces (16 slices).

16 slices x 2 halves = 32 servings.

Here's my how-to-cut-a-cake for a visual on cutting the 2" strips, then cutting the 1" pieces: . Round, square, hex, or loaf cake ... the process is the same. thumbs_up.gif
