Hi. I was wondering how the best way to luster dust cakes and candy molds. I have to make a cake for my sisters bridal shower and I am putting on sea shell candy and I would like to luster dust it but I have never tried it. What do I have to do in order to make it shine? Can someone please give me some advice. Thanks

Once your shells are made, take your luster dust and you can either paint it on with a clean artist brush, or pour the powder into a zip loc bag and put the shells in one at a time, then shake them around a little to cover. If you do white shells and want to add color, then you will need to paint them. I did mine with super pearl dust here:
