Hi All,
I was wanting to make a cake for our elementary school's track and field day just to "play" and maybe add to the portfolio. I'm needing ideas, though. There will probably be 150-200 people there, but the cake doesn't need to serve that many -- there will be other things. It's a small private school, and I would just like to make something to be a centerpiece sort of thing. Any ideas? I would like to make something a little more interesting than a sheet cake with a track on it.

What about a ribbon(s)? or medal (s) or whatever they reward the winners?
Or you could do a high jump, long jump etc...Geez, it's been a LONG time since my track and field days - do they still even do those things?
