I recently found a recipe on here for rolled cream cheese icing (instead of MMF). I've seen many posts where people mention rolling fondant out and putting it on warm cookies. I really don't like the fondant taste, but I do LOVE cream cheese icing. Do you think the same technique would work with the cream cheese rolled icing as the fondant? I think that would taste yummy on a sugar cookie icon_biggrin.gif

Hi, can you post the link to the recipe? I didn't find it when I searched.

Sometimes you just have to experiment and try things out. It does sound yummy!

Here's the link to it:

If that doesn't work, search "cream cheese based fondant" in the recipes section.

I'm just wondering if it will melt down and adhere to the cookies the same way a traditional fondant would. I want something that's quicker than flooding the cookies...that takes me FOREVER!
