Hello, I brought a wedding book to help me with the wedding cake I need to do for the 28th of this month. The books states "trace the design from the template and scribe it onto each tier of the cake".

My questions is what does "scribe" mean? I get the part about tracing it onto parchment paper but the "scribe" part I just don't understand.

The book does not have a glossary to help me with some of the wording it uses. Any help on this is greatly appreciated. Thank you.

Just poke holes into the cake as you trace "scribe" the design. Use a needle or toothpick. Hope that helps.

Think of a connect the dots game.
